I just read an interesting article, “Using kin’s DNA to track suspects.”
Basically, a man that killed 10 people was tracked down through the DNA of his daughter’s Pap smear specimen.
It is good they got this killer behind bars, but this raises many, many questions about the use of DNA, and potential misuse.
