Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) is March 31st – April 4; at least it is in the UK and throughout Europe.
Business Continuity Awareness Week in Australia is the week from Monday, April 28th – Friday, May 2nd.
Hey, so when is BCAW in the U.S. and the rest of North America?
It appears that in 2005 BCAW was held in North America September 18-24, and last year it was held May 6 – 12, 2007.
I can’t find any information about when it will be held in North America this year.
Appears the dates are still “pending.”
The goal and focus of BCAW is good, to raise awareness of the growing importance of Business Continuity Management (BCM) as an integral management tool for the entire business.
However, it would really help to make this a more successful event worldwide if all countries would have it during the same week each year.
Is there a good reason why BCAW seems to change the weeks it is held, depending upon the countries, each year?
