Reading Online Privacies Could Cost $365 Billion Annually? Doubt It!

My friend Alec (thanks Alec!) pointed me this interesting story…

Study: Reading online privacy policies could cost $365 billion a year
The study is interesting, and while the concept leading to this $365 Billion cost is POSSIBLE, it is not REALISTIC.
The details within the research paper, “The Cost of Reading Privacy Policies” by Aleecia McDonald and Lorrie Faith Cranor of Carnegie Mellon University are quite interesting.
Check them out if you like stats…you could create some good trivia questions about them.
Gee, it would be great to get the time and funding to do this type of research!
